Alan Robinson

Alan John Robinson, age 82, of Baraga, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, Michigan.

Alan was born on December 8, 1943, in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of Homer and Helen (O'Lena) Robinson. He graduated from DeWitt D. Eisenhower High School in 1961. Alan proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant, from 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1965.

On January 4, 1964, Alan was united in marriage to Lois "Arlene" Chosa in Illinois. The couple made their home primarily in the Chicagoland area, where Alan was employed as a television repairman with RCA Television. Together, Alan and Arlene enjoyed traveling throughout the country, often pursuing his deep interest in Native American culture and spirituality.

Alan is survived by his son, Josh (Lisa) Robinson of Chassell. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Arlene; and his sisters, Donna Stanfield and Georgine Domagal.

Per Alan's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
