Alben P. Testen, age 93 of Chicago, IL passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Lagrange Park, IL He was born May 18, 1922 in L’Anse, MI son of John and Theresa (Gastinich) Testen. Beloved husband of the late Anne nee Wallace, loving father of the late Stanley (Patricia) Testen, cherished grandfather of Michelle Testen and Danielle Testen, adored great-grandfather, dear brother of Albert and the late Mary Foy, Rudolph, Stanley, Joseph, Frank, Louis, August and John, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 11-12 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. His funeral mass will be at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in L’Anse with Fr. Tim Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L’Anse is assisting the family.
