Barbara Ann Anderson

Barbara Ann Anderson (Kunick) age 93, passed away October 18,2025 after a short illness. Barb was born February 18, 1932, in Baraga to Albert and Florence Kunick (Sipe). She graduated from Baraga in 1950, Barb met and married Don Anderson in December 1951, they had four sons and two daughters together. Don and Barb were married 51 years until Don's passing in 2002.

Barb liked going to the casino, playing bingo, and playing Farkle with the girls at Green Hill Manor until she moved in with Dennis and Debbie in Alston for her last three years. She endured many losses in her life including losing her husband; Don, three sons, and two daughters but always persevered with a beautiful smile for everyone and a loving heart.

Barbara is survived by her son; Dennis, daughter-in-law; Renee, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, Brothers; Lloyd (Linda) and Ron (Louise) Kunick, and many nieces and nephews. Also, special cousin; Liz Hakola.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Don, two daughters; Cheri Sanicki and Lori Bal, three sons; Don, Steve, and Scott, and daughter-in-law; Deb.

A Funeral Service will be held on October 27, 2025 at 1:00PM with visitation beginning at 12:00PM at Jacobson Funeral Home, 200 L'Anse Ave, L'Anse, MI 49946 with Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family. Friends may sign Barb's guest book or send condolences at www.jacobsonfuneralhome.com.
