Beverly Jane (Chevalier) Cavnaugh

Beverly Jane Cavnaugh, age 89 of L’Anse MI passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Bayside Village in L’Anse.
She was born April 10, 1927 in Pontiac, MI daughter of Earl and Clernia (Moore) Chevalier. Beverly resided in L’Anse for the past 40 years. She was married to Kenneth Ellenich and later married Walter “Savy” Cavnaugh. Beverly worked as a bartender at various bars in town. She enjoyed going to the casino to gamble, and arranging artificial flowers.
Surviving are her daughter Peggy Ellenich of L’Anse; daughter-in-law Marcia Thomas of Baraga; grandchildren Todd Ellenich of L’Anse, Michelle Messer of Baraga; great grandchildren, Dillon, Cole, and Conner Ellenich, Kayla and Makenzie Messer; cousin Eleanor Piper of Negaunee, MI.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husbands Kenneth and Walter; son Melvin Ellenich; brothers, James and Melvin Chevalier.
