Brian Keith Kaster

Brian "Pepsi" Kaster, age 69 of Elo, MI passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009 at his home.
He was born on September 27, 1940 in Hancock, MI son of Wilbert and Vivian (Pannanen) Kaster. Brian was raised in Trimountain, MI. He married the former Jenny Haataja on November 25, 1966 in Hancock. Brian resided in Elo for the past 22 years. He worked for Gunlock Construction Company for several years; then Penegor Lumber Co.; and last for Sikorsky Logging up until his retirement in 2002.
Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Jenny of Elo; sons, Jon (Debra) Kaster of Elo, Joseph Kaster of Elo; daughters, Tammy (Phil) Stokes of Sidney, MI, Cindy (Ray) Niemi of Arnheim, MI, Candy (Ernie Smyth) Reed of Nestoria, MI, Taywne Kaster of L'Anse; a brother Gerald (Evelyn) Kastar of Trimountain, MI; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Monday, December 28th from 12 noon until 1:00 pm at the Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse. Burial will take place in the spring in the Elo Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
