Dorine Elaine (Nagele) Barbe

Dorine Elaine Barbe, age 80 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 15, 1935 in Detroit, MI daughter of Charles L. and Beatrice E. (Tuchowski) Nagele. Dorine lived in Ypsilanti and worked for University of Michigan for 14 years, retiring in 1997. She moved to L’Anse after retirement.
Dorine was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus church and Triad thru Baragaland Seniors. She enjoyed crafts, playing cards, Bingo, and was active at Green Hill Manor.
She is survived by her sister Marilyn Jahoda of L’Anse; nieces Cheryl (Jim) Dingeldey and Katherine Jahoda; nephews William Jahoda and Charles Nagele; great nieces and nephews, Kasey, Erin, Jimmy, Chris, Colton, Cody, Josh, Shayla, Samantha, Jessica, Kayla, Caiden, Conner, and Max.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son Michael Lewandowski; and sister Evelyn Nagele.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th from 2-4:30 pm at the Jacobson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm at Jacobson Funeral Home with Deacon John Cadeau officiating.
