Frederick Robert Beauprey

Frederick Robert Beauprey, age 90 of Sidnaw, MI passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 29, 1925 in Covington Twp., MI son of George and May (Rheaume) Beauprey. Fred attended school in Covington. He was in the US Army during WWII from 1943-46. He married Anne L. Bennett on November 4, 1946 in Houghton, Mil They resided in Sidnaw and he worked as a truck driver for McMahon Brothers out of Iron River, MI and for Lindberg Construction; retiring in 1988.
He is a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8945 in Covington, MI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting firewood and mowing grass.
Surviving are his wife Anne of Sidnaw; daughters, Lynn (John) Tulppo of Gloucester, Virginia, Vicki (Randy) Hill of Sidnaw, Joyce Bowers of Green Bay, WI; four grandchildren, Amy Dail, Nicole Bellinghausen, Kay Holma, Kelly Jimenez; and 8 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; siblings, George, Joe, Randolph, Clifford, Loretta Krummi, and Isabelle Hardes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20th from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. The Baraga County Area Veterans will conduct military rites at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of the American Legion Post 444. His funeral service will follow, with Rev. Judy Mattson officiating. Burial will be in the Sidnaw Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L’Anse is assisting the family.
