Layla Marykay Klug

Layla Marykay Klug of L'Anse, MI, daughter of Joshua Klug Jr. and Cheyenne LeMieux was born into the arms of God on September 9, 2023.

It took Cheyenne and Josh 6 years to conceive Layla. She was heaven sent. From the moment Josh and Cheyenne had found out they were having a baby they were filled with excitement and joy. Layla was a mover and her favorite place to kick was up against mommy's ribs. Layla is deeply loved by all her family and will forever be in their hearts.

Surviving are her parents, Joshua Klug Jr. and Cheyenne LeMieux of L'Anse; paternal grandparents, Tanya Krywicki and Joshua Klug Sr. both of L'Anse; maternal grandparents, Michele Busman of Muskegon, MI and Branden LeMieux of Grand Haven, MI; paternal great grandmother Ann Hosie of L'Anse; maternal great grandmother Kathy LeMieux of Grand Haven; aunts and uncles, Courtney Klug, Tristan Klug, Kara Krywicki, Tony Dumont Carrion all of L'Anse, Rebecca Rowan, Abby Klug, Jasmine Klug, Elizabeth Pickering, Charlote Bisson all of Muskegon, Draven Guinn of Coopersville, Destiny LeMieux, Tye VanOeveren, and Travis LeMieux all of Grand Haven.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 16th from 10-11 a.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Thomas Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Pinery Cemetery.
