Loann Elenora (Thomas) Nilsen

Loann Elenora Nilsen, age 81 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Mather Nursing Home in Ishpeming, MI.
She was born February 22, 1934 in Pontiac, MI daughter of Leonard and Clara (Cox) Thomas. Loann graduated from Milford High School. She was married to Dagfinn Nilsen. She worked for Consumer Power in Plymouth, MI for about 10 years and then at the Courthouse in Plymouth as a clerk, retiring in 1956. She moved to L'Anse in 1997.
Surviving are her son Wayne Nilsen of California; son-in-law Tim Supanich of L'Anse; brother Grant Thomas of California; sister Christine Heller of North Carolina; grandchildren, Adam Obinsky of Traverse City, MI, Jamie Supanich of L'Anse; and 3 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Dagfinn; daughter Suann Supanich; brother Lowell Thomas; and sister Ione King.
