Martha passed away at the age of 95 on March 1, 2010 at Bayside Village in L'Anse. Martha was born May 7, 1914 in Baraga, MI, daughter of the late Christian and Hilja (Harju) Heikkinen. She graduated from Baraga High School in 1931, married Charles Kaskey in 1943 and they resided in Arnheim for many years before moving to Baraga. She was a member of the Doelle Senior Citizens and Mission United Lutheran Church in Pelkie.
