Patricia Anne Tuschen

Patricia (Patsy) Tuschen, 77, of Baraga, passed away at Bay Side Village on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Patsy was born on February 27, 1948, in Chicago, ILL daughter of the late Genevieve Corbett.

Patsy spent the majority of her life in Chicago, moving to Baraga in her later years. After her High School graduation, she married Edward Gray Sr. and had two children, Eddie and Steven.

Patsy worked a diverse number of jobs throughout the Chicago area. When she was not working, she was cooking or baking. Patsy made holidays special with her baking. She always made sure that anyone in need had a holiday meal. Patsy had a heart of gold and was always helping or caring for people. Patsy's sense of humor showed through her collection of silly holiday hats that she wore. She was the family activity director and record keeper, many times she took people to baseball games, museums, and parades. She kept records through her picturing taking making sure the names and dates were on them.

Patsy was a member of the Chicago American Legion. She was also a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. She took pride in her culture and attended Baraga's Pow-wows when she could.

Among survivors include her son, Steven Gray; sister, Clara Corbett, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren: Nieces; Genevieve Corbett, Cassandra Marchotte, great niece and nephews Adrienne, Jason and Joshua Marchotte of Bridgeport. Special friends; Barbra Egan and Amy Hay.

Along with her mother, Genevieve Corbett (Loonsfoot), Patsy is proceeded in death by her son, Eddie Gray Jr; sister, Shirley Corbett, brothers, James (Jim) Corbett and Patrick (Mike) Corbett: nephew Micheal Thunder Corbett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
