Reynalda Stein, age 84 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Alpha Senior Concepts Assisted Living in Green Bay, WI.
She was born July 22, 1930 in Camacho, Sinaloa Mexico, daughter to Rodolfo and Asencion (Aguilar) Osuna. Reynalda grew up in Mexico and attended school there. She married Bradley G. Stein on February 5, 1956, they then resided in L’Anse.
Reyna worked at the Hilltop Restaurant and the Night Owl, but especially enjoyed working with the young adults at the Pizza Shack.
Surviving are her sons, Harry B. Stein of De Pere, WI, Richard H. Stein of Sacramento, CA; daughters, Olga M. (Eric) Bourdo of Lindenhurst, IL, Rosa M. (Mike) Whitman of L’Anse, MI, Sonia A. (Dean) Rice of Superior, WI, Esther M. (Dan) Beard of Sacramento, CA; sister Lousia Osuna of Tijuana, Mexico; special friend, Richard White of Lansing, MI; three sister-in-laws, Patricia Anderson, Janet (Roger) Dault, and Sandy (Don) Turpeinen; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and numerous relations in both the United States and her native Mexico.
Reyna is preceded in death by her husband, Bradley; her parents, Rodolfo and Asencion Osuna; and sister, Esther Osuna.
Visitation was on Thursday, February 19th from 11-1 PM at Jacobson Funeral Home. Her funeral service was held at 1 PM with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. A luncheon followed in the Sharing Room at the funeral home. Burial will be held on May 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
