Richard John Beach

Richard J. Beach, age 66 of Keweenaw Bay, MI passed away on December 23, 2015 at his home. He was born October 10, 1949 in Newberry, MI son of Richard and Mary (Dubovsky) Beach. Richard graduated from Baraga High School in 1967. He was a self employed Industrial Painter for Beach's Paint; retiring 17 years ago. Richard was an avid gardener. He loved animals and enjoyed giving biscuits to dogs. His family pets were 2 hybrid wolves Noka and Niketa. Richard liked looking for argots, loved cars, and spending time teasing his nieces and nephews. Surviving are his brother, Robert (Della) Beach of Keweenaw Bay; sister Mary Ann Froberg of Keweenaw Bay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a niece Shelley Beach.. Per Richard's request there will be no visitation or services at this time. The family will hold a memorial gathering in the summer. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
