Robert E. Everson, 78 of L'Anse, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Bayside Village, L'Anse.
He was born September 18, 1937, in L'Anse and attended L'Anse High School. He moved to Brighton, MI in the early sixties to work in the construction field where he lived and worked for 25 years. He returned to L'Anse in the late 80's and continued working until he took ill and had to retire.
He was a member of the Upper Pic Michigan Club. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. He was a very nice polite man and everyone cared for him, he made lots of friends where he lived at Bayside Village.
He is survived by one daughter, Denise (James) Watts of South Lyons, MI, a son Robert Kelly, also two grandchildren, Tiffany and Johnathan (Jessica), 4 great grandchildren, Dominick, Jayden, Jasmin and Joslyn; one sister, Carol LeClaire of L'Anse and one brother, Elmer J. Everson of Marquette.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Pukall and two brothers Ralph and Ronald Everson.
Graveside services will take place in the spring in L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
