Ronald George Miller, age 62 died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Ronald grew up in L'Anse and graduated from L'Anse High School in 1963. He was in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After returning he attended Ferris State University for 3 years and then moved back to L'Anse. Ronald worked as a union carpenter. He liked football and basketball. Ronald was a member of the KBIC, VFW Post 3897, and the American Legion Post 144 of L'Anse.

Surviving are his son Danial Miller of Canada; step daughter Angela Miller of Franklin, WI; sister Barbara Knipp of L'Anse; 2 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his brothers Earl, Ed, Howard, and Robert Miller; sisters Mary Stedam, Helen Lindahl, and Ann Misegen.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th from 5-7:00 pm at the Jacobson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 am at the Zeba Indian Mission Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. John Henry will officiate. Burial will be in the Indian Pinery Cemetery with the Baraga County Area Veterans conducting military services at the grave side under the direction of the American Legion Post444. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
