Susan Frances LaFernier, age 88 of Baraga, MI passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Bayside Village in L'Anse.
She was born July 9, 1924 in Keweenaw Bay, MI daughter to John and Emma (St. Arnold) LaFernier. Susan was a member of the KBIC.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward and William LaFernier; sisters, Florence Lofquist, Annabelle Jacker, and Myrtle Gauthier.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the Ojibwa Seniors Ceremonial Room. Deacon John Cadeau will officiate. Burial will be in the Assinins Cemetery in the spring. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements..
