Our precious little angel, Brynlee Rae Minton, beloved infant daughter of Justine Rae Minton and Bart Lee Alsup Jr., of Baraga, went to be with our Creator on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. Brynlee was born at UPHS Bell in Ishpeming, Michigan. Brynlee was loved and cherished by family and friends throughout her 4 months and 19 days; bringing joy and happiness to everyone she met. During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed laughing with her sister Kylee and being held close by loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great, great-grandparents Ernest and Evelyn Holappa; maternal great-grandfather, James Minton; maternal great-grandparents John and Jean Aho; and paternal grandfather, Bart Alsup Sr..

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her big sisters Kylee Rae LaPlante, Klo’E Kipp, Alliana Jore, Ruby and Dulce Alsup, Ahniyah Shalifoe; maternal grandparents, Jeffrey (Jackie) Minton of Raber, Michigan, and Juliet Goyen (Lonnie Lantto) of Baraga, Michigan; paternal grandparent, Melody Swartz of Baraga, Michigan; maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Lussier of Baraga, Michigan; maternal aunts, Lakota Captain (Jimmy Reitman) of Barbeau, Michigan, Hunter Captain (Jim Cook) of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Corey Pietila (Durwyn Chaudier) of Baraga, Michigan; paternal aunt Malorie Swartz (Bryan VanDyke) of L’Anse, Michigan; and paternal uncle Wyatte Walitalo of Baraga, Michigan; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends who loved Brynlee very much.

Traditional Services will be held at the Zeba Hall in L’Anse, Michigan, starting with visitation, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Burial will be at the Pinery Cemetery following the Service. Afterward, a luncheon will be held at Zeba Hall. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
