Carol Phyllis (Stubinski) Seavoy

Carol Phyllis Seavoy, age 75 of Skanee, MI passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at U.P. Health System, Marquette, MI.
She was born October 10, 1946 in Marinette, WI daughter of Frank and Irene (Stujenski) Stubinski. Carol graduated from Marinette High School in 1965. She married Clarence "Duke" Seavoy on October 14, 1972 in Marinette. They resided in Skanee. She worked as a teachers aide at the Arvon Twp. School for several years.

Carol enjoyed hunting, gardening, baking, craft work, kayaking, watching the hummingbirds, traveling especially her trips to Florida. Christmas was her favorite time of year and was known as "Christmas Carol".

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who fondly referred to her as "Grama NoNo". Her memories will live on within the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her husband Clarence "Duke" Seavoy of Skanee; children, Jim Seavoy of Skanee, Susan Seavoy of Skanee, Pam (Gilbert) Martinez of L'Anse, Duke Seavoy of Skanee; siblings, Anne (Walter) Faehnel of Clearwater, FL, Alice (Dave) Joki of Laurium, Kathleen (Paul) Rue of Hillsboro, ND, Ed Lich of Marinette, WI; grandchildren, Brett, Cody, Caitlin, Courtney, and Isabelle as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents Frank and Irene Stubinski, and brother Jimmy Stubinski.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 11-1:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Hoskins officiating. Burial will be in the Skanee Cemetery.
