So sorry to hear of Dick's passing.  Visited with him many times when at Bayside with my mom (Eunice Tonkin).  He was such a sweet man and loved hearing his stories.  May he rest in peace.

I’m so sorry for your loss. The last two years, we often visited Bayside with my preschool class. We sang songs, danced and worked on art projects with the residents. The children would be so excited to visit their Elders and every time we were there we saw him! He would work with the children with patience and kindness. Prayers and love sent to you all!

Our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of this very good and faithful servant, Dick.  I never met this amazing man, but I know how much he meant to so many, especially to my friend and travel companion, his daughter Cathy Nelson.  Rest in God's peace and love, Dick.  And thank you for your dedicated service to our country.  My prayers continue for Cathy and family for God's peace to be with you.
